Will is a Canadian group active from 1992 to 1997 and closely associated with Front Line Assembly. The lineup includes Rhys Fulber, John McRae, Chris Peterson and Jeff Stoddard.

Style and sound

Will develops elements of the Front Line Assembly sound in a darker direction, replacing EBM patterns with martial rhythms. Its music also incorporates neoclassical-style strings and choral sections, placing it alongside dark wave and electronica as well as industrial-related styles.

Related projects

The group is one of several projects linked to Front Line Assembly. Its approach forms a precursor to Chris Peterson’s later project Decree, which takes a noisier direction from the same general musical territory.
