The Swiines are a four-piece indie rock and rock ’n’ roll band from Nottingham, England, formed in 2009. The group consists of Scott Bugg on vocals and guitar, Rory Black on bass, Adi Young on lead guitar and Daniel Taylor on drums.

Style and sound

The band plays British rock with lyrical melodies and large choruses, drawing on a wide range of older and newer influences. Their sound is described as earthy, gritty and accomplished, with a confident stage presence and a swaggering approach to performance.

The Swiines release singles and one EP, Dark Don't Smile EP, which appears in 2009.
