The Sons Of Bido Lito
The Sons Of Bido Lito are a country and western group that is active from 1933 and comes from the United States. The line-up includes Tim Spencer, Roy Rogers, Bob Nolan, Hugh Farr, Karl Farr, Lloyd Perryman, Pat Brady, Tex Ritter & His Texans, Ken Carson, Shug Fisher, Ken Curtis and Tommy Doss.
They are also described as a five-piece band from Sunderland, with a sound influenced by Love, Captain Beefheart and Ennio Morricone. Their material combines psychedelic sea shanties with classic 1960s pop, with jangling guitars, organ and heavy drums.
The band is associated with a hazy west-coast pop style and plays live across the UK.
