The Regrettes
The Regrettes are an American punk rock band from Los Angeles. The group forms in 2015 and is active until 2023. It is led by vocalist Lydia Night and includes Genessa Gariano on guitar, with Drew Thomsen on drums and Brooke Dickson on bass in the line-up described in the band’s recording history. The group’s listed members also include Marlhy.
Career
The Regrettes release early singles before issuing their debut studio album, Feel Your Feelings Fool!, on Warner Bros. Records in 2017. The album follows a run of tours, including dates with SWMRS in Europe and the United States. In early 2019, the band tours Europe with Twenty One Pilots.
Later releases
The band announces its second album, How Do You Love?, which appears in 2019. The record includes the singles “I Dare You” and “California Friends”. The Regrettes then release “Monday” in 2021 as the first single from Further Joy, which follows in 2022 and also includes “You’re So F*cking Pretty” and “That’s What Makes Me Love You”.
Disbandment
In 2023, The Regrettes announce that they are splitting up to work on other projects and schedule a farewell show at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles.
