The BellRays

The BellRays are a garage rock and soul band from Riverside, United States, active since 1991. The group is led by vocalist Lisa Kekaula and was originally formed by Kekaula with guitarist Bob Vennum. Their sound combines garage rock, punk rock, soul and rhythm and blues, and they are also described as a US garage rock/soul band.

Recordings and labels

The band records for a range of independent labels, including Alternative Tentacles, Upper Cut, Poptones, Bittersweet, Shock, Cheap Lullaby, Vicious Circle and Anodyne. Their releases include In the Light of the Sun, Let It Blast, Punk Rock and Soul, Grand Fury, The Red, White and Black, Have A Little Faith, Hard Sweet and Sticky, Black Lightning, the Covers EP, and Punk Funk Rock Soul Vol.1 and Punk Funk Rock Soul Vol.2.
