Sykes is a German drum and bass DJ and producer who starts his career in 1999. He works in electronic music and is one of several artists to use the name Sykes.

He is based in Germany and is described as a DJ, producer and vocalist. His musical development is shaped by listening to artists such as Donny Hathaway and India Arie, and by electronic acts including James Blake, Bonobo and RJD2. He begins producing his own music as a teenager.

Under the name Sykes, he performs live sets with Beau Zwart in the Netherlands. Together they release the Hold Tight EP in 2020. In 2021 he releases his debut solo EP, We and Us.
