Sweethead

Sweethead is an American alternative rock group active since 2008. The band is formed by Troy Van Leeuwen, Serrina Sims, Norm Block and Eddie Nappi. Van Leeuwen is best known for his work with Queens of the Stone Age, and Sweethead is his second ensemble.

The group takes its name from a David Bowie B-side. Its lineup includes Sims on vocals, with Block on drums and Nappi on bass; Block and Nappi also have previous connections to Mark Lanegan Band, while Block has also played with Plexi and Nappi with Handsome.

Sweethead’s recorded work includes The Great Disruptors EP, which is produced by Van Leeuwen. The release features hard rock and glam-tinged material, including “The Great Disruptors” and “We Turned Our Backs”.
