Sunset Sons
Sunset Sons are a British-Australian quartet active since 2013. They begin as a covers band and later develop a live reputation built around energetic shows and crowd surfing on surfboards. The group is associated with indie rock, indie, indie pop, rock and pop-rock.
Early release
The band self-releases the Le Surfing EP, which reaches number 6 in the UK iTunes rock chart in February. That release helps establish their profile beyond their base in the surfing community.
Live work
Sunset Sons tour in an iconic red transit van and play concerts across the country. Their live appearances include a performance at The Great Escape, and they earn support from broadcaster Zane Lowe, who describes them as his next hype.
