Stray

Stray are a UK hard rock band formed in London in 1966. The original line-up brings together vocalist Steve Gadd, guitarist Del Bromham, bass player Gary Giles and drummer Steve Crutchley, who form the group while attending Christopher Wren School in London. The band sign to Transatlantic Records in January 1970 and release eight albums across seven years for the label.

Stray remain active and continue to tour regularly, often alongside contemporaries such as the Groundhogs. Of the original line-up, Del Bromham is the only surviving member. Iron Maiden record a cover of Stray’s song “All In Your Mind” on the single “Holy Smoke”. The band also have an album titled Valhalla associated with 2009.
