Static Dress
Static Dress is an English post-hardcore band from Leeds, active since 2018. The group works across emo, metalcore and post-hardcore, and is centred on vocalist Olli Appleyard and guitarist Vincent Weight.
Line-up
The band is a four-piece, with Olli Appleyard on vocals, Vincent Weight on guitar, George Holding on bass and Sam Ogden on drums.
Releases and career
Static Dress begin as an independent band and release singles, an EP titled Prologue and the album Rouge Carpet Disaster. A demo version of the Prologue EP is available only on CDs at Slam Dunk festival 2021.
In May 2023, the band signs to Roadrunner Records and announces a Redux version of Rouge Carpet Disaster, which includes four reimagined versions of tracks from the album. Their second LP, Injury Episode, appears through Sumerian Records.
