Special Guest is a group associated with Saugerties, New York. The name is also used for a pop punk band from Fort Worth, Texas, and for Providence College’s only all-male a cappella group, which begins in 1996 and performs on campus, around Providence and throughout New England.

Providence College a cappella group

The Providence College ensemble performs regular annual concerts in the fall, at Christmas and in the spring. It also takes part in PCACI, the Providence College A Cappella Invitational, where it invites groups from other schools to perform alongside it. Another recurring activity is a series of Valentine’s Day Song-o-Grams, in which the group visits dorms on campus and delivers performances directly to students.

The group releases records roughly every two years. Its discography includes Top Dog (2000), Entering Harmony (2002), Blinded By The Sound (2004), Huxley Ave (2006) and a title scheduled for 2008 in the original listing. Albums are sold at shows or by email request.
