Skala

Skala is a Malaysian group associated with early 1990s rock and heavy metal. It is described as a hard-to-categorise act whose sound moves between ambient, experimental, post-rock and krautrock.

Its music is characterised as creating a relaxed, tripping atmosphere, with elements of light jazz, light and dark ambient textures, and a solid experimental and electronic foundation. At times it shifts towards ambient and post-rock, while at other points it has a krautrock-like feel.
