Sensa Yuma are a punk band with roots in Stafford, England, and a later base in Spain. The group forms in 1980 with an old school punk line-up of AGZ on vocals, Gunge on guitar, Baggy on bass and Bergin on drums, later replaced by Jane Baker. By 1983, the personnel changes again, with Pid on drums, Minty on bass, and Trogg and Aid Davis on guitars.

The band splits in 1988, then reforms in 1997 with Pid on vocals, AGZ, Minty, Jock and Ross from GBH, and Clive on drums from Police Bastard. This line-up records the long-delayed first album, Every Day’s Your Last Day. By 2001, Pid has moved to Spain and restarts the band with “continental” members Fre from Funeral Dress on bass, Rafa-Hell on guitar, Max Evilsen on drums and Seano-Porno on guitar, later replaced by Juanig. This version of the group remains together and tours Europe several times.

Releases and activity

Sensa Yuma release Up Yours in 2004 and Safe, Sound & Insane in 2007. Minty still plays when he can. The band performs in Spain, France, Germany, Holland and Belgium, and appears at punk festivals including Holidays in the Sun, Rebellion and Wasted. They also tour with Subhumans, Conflict and Inner Terrestrials.
