Self Esteem

Self Esteem is the solo project of Rebecca Lucy Taylor, a singer and musician from the United Kingdom. She first performs under this name after previously being one half of Slow Club.

Solo work

Taylor releases her first Self Esteem single, Your Wife, in 2017. Her debut album, Compliments Please, appears in 2019 on Fiction Records, following a run of singles. She tours the UK in support of the record and appears at Glastonbury, British Summer Time and Latitude.

Later releases

In 2021, I Do This All The Time marks progress on the recording sessions for her second album and is followed by a UK tour. Tracks then appear monthly from July, including Prioritise Pleasure, How Can I Help You, Moody and You Forever. Prioritise Pleasure is released in October and is named album of the year by The Guardian.
