Scooter

Scooter is a German dance and rave group from Hamburg, active since 1993. The line-up changes over time, but the act is associated with H.P. Baxxter, Marc Blou, Jay Frog and Jens Thele, and has also included Ferris Bueller, Rick J. Jordan, Axel Coon, Michael Simon, Fozzie Bear, Annie Sue, Link and Jürgen Frosch.

Style and career

The group works across electronic, eurodance, happy hardcore, hardcore techno, rave and techno. It builds its profile around high-energy dance music and has become one of the best-known German acts in single sales, with more than 30 million records sold and over 80 gold and platinum awards.

Scooter has 23 singles that reach the top ten. The group’s catalogue includes tracks such as “Hyper Hyper”, “Move Your Ass!”, “Friends”, “Endless Summer”, “Back in the U.K.”, “I’m Raving”, “Fire”, “How Much Is the Fish?”, “Ramp!
