School of Imagination
School of Imagination is a band built around the songs of Barnaby Keen. It forms in 2007, after he returns from Spain with a new set of songs written on the ukulele. The group is based in London, though most of its members grow up in Dorset.
Members
The band consists of Barny Keen on vocals, ukulele and percussion; Nathaniel Keen on electric guitar and backing vocals; Oliver Keen on bass and backing vocals; Robert Burgess on percussion and drum kit; Kit Joliffe on percussion and drum kit; and Josh Geffin on acoustic guitar and backing vocals.
Activity and style
School of Imagination does not have an official release, but it records a number of songs during 2008 and 2009. Its influences include The Beatles, Fleet Foxes, Brazilian music, English folk and jazz.
