Rotation is an Australian electronic music and techno project by DJ HMC and Theo Bambacas, who also records as Thee. It is one of three acts known by the name Rotation, but this project is the Australian duo.

Overview

Rotation works in the dance and techno area, with the wider tags associated with the name also including eurodance, rock, progressive, dance and modern rock. The act is credited as a pseudonym for HMC and Theo Bambacas.

Context

The name Rotation has also been used by a German dance act from the 1990s and by a five-piece alt-rock band from Detroit, Michigan, but the Australian duo is the one identified here. The German act records the singles “Magnificient 7” and “Let the Music Play”. The Detroit group releases its first full-length album, The Curse of 1990, independently in December 2009 and shares stages with acts including We The Kings, Sick Puppies, Mike Posner, Hawthorne Heights, Mayday Parade, Rookie Of The Year and Chevelle.
