Reign Of Fury
Reign Of Fury is a thrash metal group from Cheltenham, United Kingdom, active since 2006. The band plays a mix of thrash metal and melodic metal and is made up of Bison Steed on vocals, Ed Westlake and Jon Priestley on guitar, Magic Dave on drums, and Heavy Matt Earl on bass, who leaves the group in 2013. Although based in the West Midlands, the band develops a sound that combines aggression with accessibility and builds a sizeable fan base from its early releases and live work.
Releases and live profile
The band launches its EP Psycho Intentions in 2011, which helps establish its following. In 2012 it releases the album World Detonation, after which it receives an invitation to play Bloodstock. Reign Of Fury gains a reputation on the live circuit and later hosts the UK charity tour Headbangers Balls in 2013. The tour covers 12 UK venues and features 50 emerging acts, alongside US band Hatebreed.
Management and reach
Reign Of Fury is managed by Andy Pilkington. The group also reports growing support in South America and plans to tour internationally alongside its second album.
