Raketkanon

Raketkanon are a Belgian noise rock group from Ghent, active between 2010 and 2020. The band consists of Pieter De Wilde, Pieter-Paul Devos, Jef Verbeeck and Lode Vlaeminck.

The group is described as Belgian noiserock, with a sound on its debut album that combines noise rock with sludge, experimental rock and psychedelic elements. Their music is compared with the sludgy style associated with the Melvins, the experimentation of Tomahawk and the chaotic psychedelia of the early Butthole Surfers.

Raketkanon are part of the Belgian rock scene and are associated with noise rock, sludge and stoner rock.
