Pulled Apart by Horses are a four-piece post-hardcore band from Leeds, England. They form in February 2008 and build attention quickly within the British alternative and indie music scene. Their sound combines rock riffs with alt-noise, and they are associated with post-hardcore, alternative rock, indie and indie rock.

The band attracts support from Radio 1 presenters Huw Stephens and Steve Lamacq, as well as coverage from the NME, Artrocker and several British indie labels. They also gain a reputation for their live performances, with one review describing them as “the best live band in Britain”.
