Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals

Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals is an American metal group active since 2011. It is formed by Phil Anselmo, who is also known for Pantera and Down, and includes Mike DeLeon, Jose Manuel Gonzalez, Marzi Montazeri and Stephen Taylor.

The group works in groove metal, sludge metal and thrash metal. Its first album, Walk Through Exits Only, appears in 2013.

Marzi Montazeri previously plays with Superjoint Ritual, while José Manuel Gonzales is also associated with Warbeast.
