Oliver Heldens

Oliver Heldens is a Dutch electronic music producer and DJ from Rotterdam, Netherlands. Born Olivier J. L. Heldens in 1995, he works in house, deep house, future house and related electronic styles. He is associated with HELDEEP RECORDS.

Breakthrough

Heldens gains wider attention in 2013 with the track “Gecko”. The song attracts the interest of Dutch DJ Tiësto, who signs him to Musical Freedom and releases a vocal version with Becky Hill. That version helps establish Heldens as a notable name in future house.

Heldeep Radio and HI-LO

He presents a weekly podcast called Heldeep Radio. In 2015, he begins releasing bass house music under the alias HI-LO, a name formed by reversing “Oli H”. Under that alias, he releases the singles “Crank It Up”, “Renegade Mastah” and “Wappy Flirt”, with the latter two issued on Heldeep Records.
