Natty

Natty is an English hip-hop and breakbeat MC from the United Kingdom. He grows up in North London and develops his sound around a mix of influences that range from Neil Young to Marvin Gaye. He works in Sphere Studios in Battersea, where he first discovers his talent, initially as an engineer for artists in the indie music scene.

Early work and live profile

He builds an early following through open mic sessions and Vibes and Pressure nights, which also feature performers including Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, Statik, and Mr Hudson and the Library. His debut double A-side, Badmind / Camden Rox, attracts attention from NME, which includes him on its Love Music / Hate Racism CD alongside Hard-Fi, Babyshambles, M.I.A., Bloc Party, Lethal Bizzle and others.
