Native Roses

Native Roses are a UK folk and indie band based in Brighton. The group consists of Jacob Stevens, James Knaggs, Jessica Illsley and Moses Bogarde. James Knaggs is the band’s lead singer.

Their sound is described as combining Appalachian ballad elements with rugged British rock’n’roll. The band releases a four-track EP and is also recording a full-length record. A video linked to the group features Jasmine, also known as Birdy, who has a solo recording contract with Atlantic and provides the voice of the female sock character.
