Nathan Ball

Nathan Ball is a UK singer-songwriter from Buckinghamshire, born in 1990 and based in London. He writes in an indie-leaning style and is associated with Cold Water Records. He performs as a solo artist and has previously been part of acoustic duo The Ballinsky Project and the band Nayfumble.

Career

Ball begins writing songs in his teens. At 20, he wins the North West Song Writing Competition. He performs as The Ballinsky Project until 2008 alongside cellist Adrianne Wininsky; under that name they release The Control Z Sessions. After that period, he continues as a solo performer.

Releases and activity

Ball’s solo EP Footprints is part of his early work as a solo artist. His career is also linked to performances at a number of UK summer festivals, including Small World, Sunrise Celebration, Glastonbury, Secret Garden Party, Fiddler's Green Folk Festival, Big Green Gathering, Broadstairs Folk Week and Buddhafield.
