My Cousin I Bid You Farewell begin playing live in November 2008, with their first gig taking place on Vic Galloway’s BBC Introducing show. In the following year, they win a King Tuts Your Sound Artist of the Month award, appear at Winterfest 2008 and headline the T-Break stage at T in the Park. They also share stages with a range of other acts, including Sleigh Bells, Frightened Rabbit, Shearwater, Johnny Foreigner, Marina & The Diamonds and The Sisters of Mercy.
