Murray Lachlan Young is a British performance poet whose humorous work gains a wide public profile in the mid-1990s. He signs to EMI in 1996 and releases one album, Vice And Verse. He lives and works in west Cornwall. Young also appears in film, with a small role as a gallows poet in Plunkett and MacLeane (1999) and a part as the brother of Louis XIV in Vatel (2000).
