Moose

Moose are a UK indie band from London, formed in 1990 and active until 2000. The group’s line-up includes Lincoln Fong and Kevin McKillop. They are associated with dream pop, indie rock and shoegaze, and are sometimes described as part of the original shoegaze movement, especially in their earliest singles.

Career

The band develops from early shoegaze into a more distinctive style of pop that is woozy, lush and orchestral. They release two EPs on Hut Records, followed by two full-length albums on Play It Again Sam. Although they receive a strong critical response, their records sell poorly.

After releasing their third album, Live a Little Love a Lot, Moose take a long break from music. They return in 2000 with High Ball Me!, after which the band breaks up soon afterwards.
