Me Gusta

Me Gusta is a Bay Area-based hip-hop and electronic production duo made up of Sean Paul Richards and Dominic Lopez. The group forms in early 2008 and begins making music on an outdated Macintosh computer connected to a boombox.

Early releases

The duo’s first wave of tracks includes Liu Kang, Megadrive and Touchdown. Over the following two years, they release a regular stream of original material and remixes.

Remix work and compilations

Me Gusta also issues two remix compilations, Remixtape Vol. 1 and Remixtape Vol. 2. Their work spans indie, electronic, abstract hip-hop, crunk and glitch-hop.

Other activity

Alongside music, Me Gusta branches into other creative projects, including a personal thought-and-image blog. The duo also plans a further compilation for digital download and limited CD and cassette pressing.
