Martha Tilston is an English folk-based singer-songwriter from Brighton, United Kingdom, born in 1975. She is also identified as Martha Tilston and is based in Brighton. She starts writing songs from an early age and is the daughter of songwriter Steve Tilston.

Career

Before her solo work, she performs in the acoustic duo Mouse. Her solo debut album, Rolling, is self-released, followed by Bimbling. She then assembles The Woods, a group that includes members of Semble, to record the free downloadable album Ropeswing. The following year, the group undertakes a full UK tour and releases Of Milkmaids And Architects.
