Luxx

Luxx is a name used for more than one act. One is Luuk, a producer from the Netherlands, born in 1991, who starts making house music at 15 after experimenting with trance and hardstyle. His first notable release is Ultimate Rise, which is featured in the dance-tunes top 100.

Another Luxx is a New York City band formed in the late 1990s. That group brings together bassist Tony Fennell, guitarist Ian Hatton, drummer Dave Silver and lead vocalist Katrina Chester. Its sound moves between ska-punk and metal. The band releases a self-titled album on Push Records in 1998, then follows it with Hydroponic the next year on its own label, an imprint of All-Indie Records.
