Lonely The Brave
Lonely The Brave are a British alternative rock band from Cambridge, formed in 2008. The group’s sound draws on a wide range of influences, including Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam and Deftones, and has been described as combining stadium-sized rock with an alternative edge.
Line-up
The band includes Mark Trotter on lead guitar and backing vocals, Gavin Edgeley on drums and backing vocals, Andrew Bushen on bass guitar, Ross Smithwick on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, and Jack Bennett on lead vocals. The group previously includes David Jakes on lead vocals and Joel Mason on rhythm guitar.
Career
In March 2018, the band announces that David Jakes leaves for mental health reasons. Jack Bennett joins as vocalist later that year, and the band releases its first material with him in 2020 on Easy Life Records. The single “Bound” is premiered on BBC Radio One.
