Letz Zep

Letz Zep is a London-based rock group that presents a live recreation of Led Zeppelin’s sound and stage performance. The band tours professionally and plays more than 100 shows a year, reaching audiences of more than 100,000 people. Its concerts draw listeners across age groups and often include whole families.

Background and reputation

The group is made up of experienced musicians with a strong touring history, having worked with artists including Ozzy Osbourne, Roger Daltrey, Rod Stewart, Dr Feelgood and Uriah Heep. It also performs at high-profile events, including the official launch party for the Led Zeppelin Mothership CD. Robert Plant attends one of the band’s London shows, and later comments that he sees himself when he enters the venue.

Repertoire

Letz Zep’s set lists cover Led Zeppelin’s full recording career and include more than 50 songs. The repertoire ranges from hard rock tracks such as “Black Dog” and “Rock and Roll” to acoustic numbers including “Gallows Pole” and “Babe I’m Going to Leave You”, as well as songs such as “Kashmir” and “Stairway to Heaven”.

The band receives praise for the accuracy of its live recreation. Jeremy Clarkson describes it as sounding like “the real Page and Plant”.
