Land of the Giants
Land of the Giants are a six-piece band from Plymouth, Devon, in the United Kingdom. Formed in 2010, they play a mix of rock, reggae, ska and blues, with dub influences, and are described as a funk-orientated, upbeat group.
The band is known for its energetic live shows and has built a reputation as a festival act, playing events including Glastonbury, Lemonfest, Maker, Looe Music Festival, Bris Fest and Landed in Wales. It also appears on the main stage at Boardmasters, where it supports sets by Basement Jaxx, The Vaccines and Ben Howard.
Land of the Giants also opens shows for The Levellers, Roots Manuva and Neville Staple. Its music receives national airplay from Tom Robinson on BBC 6 Music and on BBC Introducing, and the group releases a live album and DVD. A national tour follows that release.
