Jools Holland
Jools Holland is a British pianist and bandleader from Blackheath, in the United Kingdom. He is also known as a television presenter and as a pop music enthusiast. Born Julian Miles Holland in 1958, he works across blues, boogie, boogie-woogie, British rhythm and blues, jazz and R&B.
Career
He is a founding member of Squeeze, the band that brings him wider recognition. He also leads Jools Holland & His Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, and is associated with Jools Holland and His Millionaires, The Barnestormers, Ken Bishop's Nice Twelve, George's Band and The Oil City Sheiks. His work sits between piano-led rhythm and blues, jazz and related popular styles.
