Jasmine Rodgers

Jasmine Rodgers is a London-based vocalist and co-songwriter with the UK band bôa. She is part of the group’s line-up and works in a style that draws on alternative rock, indie rock, blues and folk.

With bôa, Rodgers is associated with the song “Duvet”, which is used as the title track for the anime Serial Experiments Lain. The band records the albums The Race of a Thousand Camels, which appears in 1998 and is later released under the name Twilight in 2001, and Get There in 2005. The group also releases an EP with Belgian distributors Dybex.

Other work

Rodgers writes two songs for Armitage III: “Near Me” for Armitage and “Baby Yoko” for the soundtrack of the Japanese and US collaboration anime. Outside bôa, she works on acoustic songs of her own, collaborating with different producers and developing her own sound and lyrics.

Solo releases

Her solo catalogue includes the self-titled EP Jasmine Rodgers from 2010. She also releases the albums Blood Red Sun and Dark Tide.

Education

Rodgers holds a degree in Zoology from the University of Roehampton.
