Imprints is a UK ambient noise group led by Shaun Crook. It was formerly called Mavis Beacon, and it works in ambient and noise-based music.

The name also appears as that of a separate eclectic group based in Los Angeles, active since 2009 and associated with deadlightbulb inc., with music spanning trip-hop, hip hop, metal and chiptunes. That Los Angeles act is listed with releases on Bandcamp and SoundCloud.
