I Am The Avalanche

I Am The Avalanche are a punk band from Brooklyn, United States, active since 2004. The group features Vinnie Caruana on vocals, following his earlier work with The Movielife, alongside Brett Romnes on drums and Kellen Robson on bass. Their listed genres include indie rock, melodic hardcore, pop punk, and post-hardcore.

History and recordings

The band releases its self-titled debut album on Drive-Thru Records in 2005. A second full-length, Avalanche United, follows on I Surrender Records. The group is described as a five-piece, with Michael Ireland and Brandon Swanson on guitars in addition to Caruana, Romnes, and Robson.
