Headspace

Headspace is a progressive rock and progressive metal band centred on keyboard player Adam Wakeman, the son of Rick Wakeman, with Pete Rinaldi on guitar, Lee Pomeroy on bass, Damian Wilson on vocals and Rich Brook on drums. The group draws on the sound of bands such as Dream Theater, Pain of Salvation, Yes and Genesis. It also appears in other contexts as an alias used by Massimo Lombardo for a drum and bass album, and as the name of a separate alternative garage rock trio from North London formed in 2007.

The North London Headspace line-up is based in Holloway and develops a wall-of-sound approach. Its debut single is “All About the Money”, a track built around hooks and lyrics focused on materialism. The name also overlaps with a meditation app, but that is unrelated to the music acts using the same name.
