Haptic

Haptic is an electro-acoustic trio from Chicago, United States. The group consists of Steven Hess, Joseph Mills and Adam Sonderberg. Hess also performs with Pan American, Dropp Ensemble, On and Fessenden; Mills also appears in Jonathan Chen and Dropp Ensemble; and Sonderberg also plays in Dropp Ensemble and Civil War.

The trio makes dense drone-based music. Its sound moves between strict minimalism and more forceful, carefully controlled chaos.
