Gurriers

Gurriers are a Dublin-based group who form in 2020. They play a mix of alternative rock, indie rock, noise rock, post-punk and shoegaze, and their sound is described as drawing on punk and shoegaze with a raw, energetic edge.

The band consists of Dan Hoff on lead vocals, Ben O'Neill on guitar and backing vocals, Mark MacCormack on guitar, Pierce O'Callaghan on drums, and Charlie McCarthy on bass. They develop their approach during the pandemic, using lockdown periods and Zoom calls to refine their direction and shape an abrasive sound.

Debut album

Their debut album, Come and See, presents a mix of anger, reflection, catchy melodies and hooks. The record also looks beyond their hometown and aims for a broader thematic range.
