Franc Cinelli is a singer-songwriter born in Rome and raised in London. His early musical education comes from his mother’s vinyl collection, which includes Springsteen, The Police, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd and Bob Marley.

He develops his craft by playing live as widely as possible, travelling by National Express coaches to perform in pubs, venues and front rooms from Hastings to Stornoway and beyond until he has enough songs for a record. His debut album, Glue, is released independently under the name Goodtimes Goodtimes and helps him reach a larger audience.

Glue leads to several tours in the United States, where his alt-country and blues influences deepen. Early on, he fits in as many shows as possible in a single night in Greenwich Village coffee shops, bars and record stores, before moving on to venues including Pianos, The Living Room, Sidewalk Cafe and Rockwood Music Hall in Manhattan, as well as Third and Lindsley and The Basement in Nashville.

After Glue, he returns to London and signs to Danton Supple’s Definition Arts label. His second album is released through the label, and he performs under his own name, either solo or with his band The Get Up & Go. The band comprises guitarist Ivor Sims, bassist Russell Grooms and drummer Paul Atkins.

Following a European tour, he continues to work with the band and remains active as a performer rooted in singer-songwriter, alt-country and blues-influenced material.
