The EP opens with “Sweet Water (Rezo)”, a track built around gratitude and prayer, including reference to God and to Oshun, the river deity linked with prosperity and sensuality in her writing. “Oshun energy is always present in my life,” she says. The song also introduces a breathy flute line that recurs across much of the record. “Imported” is inspired by her first trip to Puerto Rico, which she takes to deepen her understanding of her Afro-Caribbean roots, and it uses Spanish-style guitar and layered vocals. Other tracks include “Crush”, which explores vulnerability and reciprocity in love, “If I Knew”, which uses reggae-influenced rhythm and horn arrangements, and “I Want You”, which she describes as a letter to a lover. “Pages” closes the EP with reflections on writing, emotional freedom and self-reliance.

Femi is often compared with Sade, Prince and Minnie Riperton, though her recordings are presented as genre-crossing rather than tied to any single category.
