Eastfield

Eastfield are a UK punk band active since 1996 and originally formed in Birmingham. They describe their style as “rail punk”, combining references to first-generation BR diesel power with punk ethics and a self-deprecating approach.

The band’s lyrics are satirical, ironic and angry in tone, and often use biting humour. Their songs also reflect interests in animal rights and real ale. Eastfield’s sound is driven by guitar and drums, with clear vocals in both live and recorded settings.

The line-up has gone through several changes and rebuilds over the years. Current members listed for the band include Kris, Bambi, Jessi Eastfield, Elaine, Darius Khan, S@M, Paul Raggity, Rhys, Sam, Ben, Chris Willsher, Trina Breedon, Andy Hughes and Matt. Earlier member details in the band’s description also name Andrew (Jessi) Adams on guitar and vocals, Bambi on bass and vocals, Trina Vodkapunk on vocals, and Oddo on drums.

Eastfield’s songs often take aim at celebrities or other figures they dislike, and the band has a long association with the idea of rail freight themed punk rock.
