Dash

Dash is an Iranian rock band formed in November 2002 by Maanie and Milad, later joined by Babak and Siavash. The group begins as a cover band, performing songs by alternative rock acts, before moving on to original material. It plays a mixture of rock and progressive rock with electronic elements, and is also tagged with Persian rock and soundtrack.

The band gives private performances and also plays at the University of Tehran. It records an album called Si in 2008. Dash is also the subject of the documentary From Tehran's Underground to Osnabruck.
