Crossfire

Crossfire is an 80s Belgian heavy metal band from Aalst, Belgium. It is active from 1981 to 1987 and is associated with heavy metal, metal and speed metal.

Background

The band begins as a punk group called The Onion Dolls before moving into heavy metal and speed metal. Its sound is described as comparable to Accept, Krokus and other 1980s metal acts. Crossfire gains local success in Belgium and elsewhere in Europe.

Recordings and activity

Crossfire appears on the compilation Metal Clogs, contributing four tracks alongside other Belgian metal acts on Rave-On Records. The band then records its debut full-length album, See You in Hell, in 1983. It goes on to release several other albums before splitting up in 1987.
