Craig Ogden

Craig Ogden is an Australian guitarist who works mainly as a classical guitarist and chamber musician. He begins guitar studies at the age of seven and studies percussion from the age of thirteen. He is a Principal Lecturer in Guitar at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.

Career

Ogden appears regularly as a soloist and chamber musician at major London venues including the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Wigmore Hall and the Barbican. He also works with many leading UK artists and ensembles. In 2004, the Royal Northern College of Music awards him a Fellowship in recognition of his achievements, and he becomes the youngest instrumentalist to receive that honour from the institution.
