Citay

Citay is an American psychedelic pop-rock band formed in San Francisco in 2004. The group starts as a studio project led by Ezra Feinberg, formerly of Piano Magic, and Tim Green, who comes from Drag City’s The Fucking Champs. Over time it develops into a live band with members drawn from Tussle, Crime In Choir, The Dry Spells, By Land And Sea, 3 Leafs, Galactic Bunz, Horn of Dagoth and Sweet Potatoes.

Recorded work

Citay’s self-titled debut album appears in 2006 and combines two main influences: the expansive, early-1970s style of English rock and L.A. folk-rock. The second album, Little Kingdom, follows in 2007, and Dream Get Together appears in 2010.

Live activity

The band tours and shares bills with artists including Vetiver, Six Organs Of Admittance, Howlin' Rain, The Fucking Champs, Danava, Earthless, Black Fiction, Daevid Allen, Papercuts and others.
