Boris Brejcha is an electronic music producer and DJ from Ludwigshafen, Germany, born in 1981. He begins music at an early age, learns drums and keyboard, and later moves into producing and performing electronic dance music. He starts producing and DJing in November 2006.

His first online MP3 release, the Monster EP, and the follow-up Yellow Kitchen EP both reach number one on several download platforms. These releases help establish him as a new name in techno, and he goes on to play gigs in Germany and internationally.

Brejcha’s music sits within minimal techno, techno and related electronic styles, but it also draws on electro, breaks, IDM and occasional ambient arrangements. His sound is described as more demanding than straightforward minimal, techno or hard house.

He also records under the moniker Anna, which represents a darker, more techno-focused side of his work. Under that name, and as Boris Brejcha, he releases on Harthouse, Regular and AUTIST.records. His work receives support from John Digweed, Sasha, Richie Hawtin and Microfunk.
