Barn Owl is a psychedelic drone group from San Francisco, United States. It forms in 2006 and remains active. The group consists of Evan Caminiti, Jon Porras and Invisible Path.

It begins as a collaboration between Evan Caminiti and Jon Porras, who meet in San Francisco in 2006 and start making music together soon afterwards. Porras is also associated with Elm.

Barn Owl works within psychedelic drone, with music that also draws on drone, ambient, experimental and folk elements. Its sound is described through long, atmospheric pieces shaped by hazy, desert-like imagery, with dark pastoral passages and psychedelic washes.
